List of Ingredients 3 medium orange sweet peppers, halved and seeded

1 canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce

2 cloves garlic

1 lb. lean ground turkey

1 large onion, chopped

1 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces

15 oz. can reduced-sodium pinto beans, rinsed and drained

15 oz. can butter beans, rinsed and drained

14.5 oz. can chunky chili-style tomatoes or stewed tomatoes, undrained

14.5 oz. can reduced-sodium chicken broth

12 oz. can beer

2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped

1 tsp. kosher salt

garnish with Spicy Chipotle-Seasoned Nuts
Description In a food processor, combine sweet peppers, chipltle peppers and garlic.  Cover and process until finely chopped; set aside.



In an 8-quart Dutch oven, cook meat and onion over medium-high heat until meat is brown and onion is tender, breaking up meat as it cooks.  Drain off fat.  Add sweet pepper mixture; cook and stir for 5 minutes.



Stir in sweet potato, pinto beans, butter beans, undrained tomatoes, chicken broth, beer, apples and salt.  Bring to boiling; reduce heat.  Simmer, covered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until sweet potato is tender.



If desired, top each with Spicy Chipotle-Seasoned Nuts.
