List of Ingredients 1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. five-spice powder

1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

3/4 lb. sirloin steak

10 raw shrimp (21-25 per pound), peeled, deveined and chopped

2 tsp. cornstarch

1/2 tsp. sugar

1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

3/4 cup fat-free, low-sodium beef broth

2 T low-sodium soy sauce

2 tsp. canola oil

1 cup (1/4" thick) diagonally cut sliced carrots

1 cup broccoli florets

1 1/2 cups snow peas, trimmed

1 lb. baby bok choy, trimmed and sliced into 1" pieces

3 cups hot cooked rice
Description Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well; sprinkle evenly over steak and shrimp.



Combine cornstarch, sugar and red pepper in medium bowl, stirring well with a whisk.  Stir in broth and soy sauce.



Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.  Add carrot and bok choy to pan; stir fry 2 minutes.  Add steak and broccoli; stir fry 2 minutes.  Stir in broth mixture; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.  Add snow peas and shrimp; cook 1 minute or until desired doneness.  Serve with rice.

Used brown rice and it was good!



Can use just steak or just shrimp, increase quantities!
