2 egg whites
1/3 c flour
3/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 4 oz. cube steaks
2 tsp oil
1 recipe of Mushroom Gravy
Mashed Potatoes
Description
Combine 3 T mil and egg whites in a shallow dish, stirring with a whisk. Combine 1/3 c flour and next 4 ingredients in a shallow dish. Working with 1 steak at a time, dip in egg ixture, dredge in flour mixture. Repeat process with remaining steaks, egg mixture, and flour mixture.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks, cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Remove steaks from pan; keep warm.
While steaks cook, prepare mashed potatoes. Keep warm.
Prepare 1 recipe of mushrrom gravy in pan steaks were cooked in. Spoon gravy over steaks. Serve over mashed potatoes.
