Name Pepper Steak

List of Ingredients 1 lb. round steak
2 T. vegetable oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, mashed
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 7-oz. can mushrooms
1 28-oz. can diced or crushed tomatoes
2 T. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
2 T. soy sauce
1 c. hot water
1 beef bouillon cube
Description Brown meat in hot oil about 15 minutes. Add onion and garlic last few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add to meat. Cover and simmer til meat is tender (about 20 to 25 minutes). Add tomatoes, green pepper and mushrooms and cook 10 minutes more.

Combine remaining ingredients and stir into meat mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.

Serve over hot noodles.
