2 c. chicken broth
1 T. chopped onion
1/4 c. diced carrots
1/4 c. diced celery
1 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
3 c. hot milk
1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1/8 tsp. yellow food coloring
Description Dissolve arrowroot in 1/2 c. chicken broth. Cook onion, carrots and celery in 1 c. water til tender.

Melt butter, add flour and stir until smooth. Add 1 1/2 c. chicken broth, arrowroot mixture and cheese. Stir til cheese melts. Add milk, salt, soda, paprika, parsley, food coloring, vegetables and water in which vegetables were cooked.

DO NOT BOIL SOUP!
