9 c. Chex cereals (Corn, Rice, Wheat or Multi-Bran)
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. peanuts or raisins (or a combination)
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Description
Pour Chex cereal and peanuts or raisins into a large bowl; set aside.
In 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine chips, peanut butter, and margarine. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or til smooth, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal mixture stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour cereal mixture into large zipper plastic bag and add powdered sugar. Seal securely and shake until all pieces are well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool.

Stovetop Method: Pour cereal and nuts or raisins into large bowl; set aside.
In small saucepan over low heat melt chips, peanut butter and margarine til smooth, stirring often. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Continue as above.
