List of Ingredients
2 cans (5 ounces) or 1 pouch (5 or 6.4 ounces) tuna, drained or flaked
1 pound farfalle pasta
4 T olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 medium onions, chopped
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes in juice
1 C dry white wine
3 T capers, drained
1 T rosemary, chopped
1/2 C kalamatta olives, pitted and quartered
1 tsp ground black pepper
salt to taste
2 T Italian parsley, chopped
Description
Prepare pasta according to package directions. (May want to run cold water over cooked pasta.) Set aside. Place oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and onions and saute about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and juice, wine, capers, rosemary, olives, and peppers. Simmer for 5 minutes. Raise heat to medium and cook another 3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Add salt to taste. Combine tuna, sauce, and parsley with pasta.
