8-10 Kirby Cucumbers
5 tsp pickling & canning salt (if using featherweight variety, use a little more)
2 T Dill
1/2 cup white vinegar
Description
Slice cucumers 1/8 inch thick. Put in 1 liter container. Toss with salt and dill. Pour vinegar over. Put in refrigerator. Every hour, toss container to help distribute ingredients evenly.

6-8 hours for optimal pickling

Notes
It will look like there is not enough brine. But as salt draws water out of cucumbers, you will get the perfect pickling brine. Can eat after 1-2 hours, but best after 6-8. Will keep in fridge for 3-5 weeks.
