Name Italian Chicken Chardonnay

List of Ingredients 2 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

3 lbs. bone-in chicken breast halves, skin removed

3 cups quartered baby portobello mushrooms

1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

14 oz. can water-packed artichoke hearts, rinsed and drained

1 1/2 cups chardonnay

6 oz. can tomato paste

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 T minced fresh thyme or 2 tsp. dried thyme

1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced

Description Combine paprika, salt, pepper and cayenne; sprinkle over chicken.  Place chicken, mushrooms, red pepper, onion and artichokes in a 5-quart slow cooker.  In a small bowl, combine chardonnay, tomato paste, garlic and thyme; pour over vegetables.



Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until chicken is tender.  Stir in parsley.  Serve over pasta and sprinkle with cheese.
