1/4 cup whiskey or apple cider
1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 T sugar
1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 lb. beef sirloin steak (about 1-inch thick)
Description
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first five ingredients; add beef. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Drain and discard marinade. Place beef on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 7 to 8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium rare 145 degrees, medium 160 degrees and well done 170 degrees).

Really delicious! I took it out at about 155 and tented and for 10 minutes before slicing.
