Name Tequila-Chile Marinated Pork Chops

List of Ingredients 4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)

MARINADE:

1 cup chopped cilantro

2 jalapenos, minced

1/4 cup lime juice

1/4 cup veg or olive oil

3 T tequila (or water)

1 T lime peel

1 T minced garlic

1 T ground chipotle chili powder or regular chili powder

1 T chopped fresh oregano or 1 tsp dried

2 1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp ground allspice
Description

Place pork in large resealable plastic bag. Combine all marinade ingredients in small bowl and pour over pork. Refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.

Heat grill. Remove pork from marinde, leaving as much marinade on as possible. Discard remaining marinade. Grill, covered, over medium heat or coals 7-10 minutes or until no longer pink in the middle, turning once. PLace on serving platter, cover loosely with foil and let stand 5 minutes.
