Name Roast Pork with Fruit
Number of People 8
List of Ingredients 1 medium onion, sliced
2 lb. boneless pork loin roast
8 oz. dried fruit pieces or raisins (1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Description Place onion in 4 to 5 quart slow cooker. Place pork on onion; top with fruit. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over fruit.

Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 9 hours or until pork is tender. Serve fruit mixture over pork.
Time 15 minutes prep plus 9 hours cooking time

Notes Can use aprict nectar or orange juice in place of apple juice.

9 hours is probably a little long for my crockpot.

I made gravy from the juice (used pork gravy mix) and it was delicious!
