Cookies:
1 c. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
32 large marshmallows
64 pecan halves
Icing:
1/2 c. margarine
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Description
For cookies, cream butter and sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt; beat into creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cut marshmallows in half and press onto cookies cut side down. Bake 2 more minutes. Cool completely on wire rack.
Meanwhile, combine margarine, cooca and milk for icing in saucepan. Bring to a boil for one minutes, stirring constantly. Cool, add sugar and vanilla and beat well.
When cookies are cool and icing is ready, spread icing on cookies and garnish with pecan half.
